Episode 13: “Ruth, A Beacon of Hope”
In Episode 13, recorded on July, 28 2019, Pastor Neptune teaches this online podcast message titled “Ruth, a Beacon of Hope.” He goes through the entire book of Ruth and you’ll see the very first time the translators of the King James Version used the actual word “Hope,” was in the Book of Ruth chapter 1, verse 12. This same Hebrew word was used many times prior, but this is the first time we see hope or a version of hope as we know it today. Pastor Neptune tells the story and gives the anti-type of Boaz (Christ) our kinsmen redeemer in type and shadow. After he finishes the types and shadows through the Book of Ruth, he works on the other translations of hope in the Old Testament. In Chapter 21 he shows the coming/progressing hope (a different translation than that of Ruth 1:12) that the Old Testament writers such as David (Obeds grandson) penned. In conclusion, you’ll hear in Chapter 22 our New Testament hope(concrete full assurance in the Greek) which is alive today in Jesus Christ which is Boaz our kinsman redeemer!
This episode is broken down into 22 separate chapters: If you listen via iTunes Podcast app you will be able to see all the chapter breakdowns.
Episode 12: The Death, Burial and Resurrection of the Lamb of God
In Episode 12, recorded on July, 07 2019 at Gospel Chapel church, Pastor Neptune teaches this bible class on the “Death, Burial and Resurrection of the LAMB of God.” He lays a solid foundation to show that Jesus Christ was actually dead; body, soul and spirit when he poured out his life for ours on Golgotha’s hill. He will explain not only why, but HOW our Messiah was put to death in the flesh for our sins. In the last fifteen to twenty minutes you’ll see the full picture come into view that Jesus Christ became sin(who knew no sin)and nailed the first-born man of “Adam” to the cross of Calvary. He BECAME the Lamb who was accepted by his Father! God then chose to raise this spotless lamb (his Son) from the dead and now Jesus Christ is alive today and forevermore. Let’s listen in!
